About this role

Job Summary We are seeking a Fund Accounting Analyst with experience in Alternative Investments and Derivatives Administration to support daily fund accounting operations, reporting, reconciliation, and performance analysis activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of alternative investment products while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal controls. Key Responsibilities Daily Responsibilities • Perform day-to-day processing and analysis of Alternative products, including a variety of Derivatives products. • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting and maintain accuracy and appropriateness of accounting for performance and exposure analysis. • Provide assistance to junior staff when support is required. • Perform accounting functions including control and updating of the general ledger, review and analysis of profit and loss (P&L), and reconciliation break clearance. • Monitor net cash flows for various products. • Calculate mark-to-market (MTM) values for all open positions and post to respective reporting platforms. • Ensure compliance with Trust Agreements and relevant disclosure documents as they relate to service delivery and adherence to industry regulations and guidelines. • Perform ad hoc requests and additional duties as assigned by management. Project Exposure • Red’s Replacement (Reds to Fund Guard project) Required Technical Skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA and Macros. • Experience with derivatives systems and integrations. • W360 experience is considered an asset. • Bloomberg Terminal experience is considered an asset. Required Qualifications & Experience • Experience in Fund Accounting, Derivatives Administration, Fund of Funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Reporting, and/or Equity Funds. • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Flexibility to meet scheduled shift requirements. Preferred Qualifications • Securities industry experience. • Enrollment in CAIA, CGA, CMA, CFA, or another recognized accredited program. • Working knowledge of GAAP. • Leadership skills. The expected base salary range for this position is $40 – $43 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
