Senior Financial Analyst (12-Month Contract)

We are seeking Senior Financial Analyst for a 12-month contract to support the month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting processes. The role is fully remote, but the person MUST RESIDE in ONTARIO or CALGARY (CANADA). Job#: 481023 Responsibilities: • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers for month-end and quarter-end close • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and note disclosures under IFRS • Support external and regulatory reporting requirements • Analyze financial results and investigate variances • Assist with IFRS 9, 15, 16 and 17 reporting processes and accounting activities • Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies • Participate in process improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and special projects Requirement: • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA • 2–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience • Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation • Strong Excel and financial systems skills • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
