About Us We are a leading Canadian store fixture manufacturer specializing in custom retail fixtures, millwork, metal fabrication, displays, and complete retail environments. Our team is known for quality craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering complex projects on time and on budget. The Role As Controller, you will oversee all financial operations of the company while working closely with ownership and operations leadership. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both accounting and manufacturing. Responsibilities • Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and banking relationships • Oversee job costing and estimating, WIP reporting, and inventory controls • Monitor margins and manufacturing performance metrics • Develop and improve internal systems, controls, and reporting processes • Coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements • Support strategic decision-making with accurate operational data • Supervise accounting staff and help build a high-performance finance team Qualifications • CPA designation preferred • 5+ years experience in manufacturing accounting • Strong understanding of job costing and ERP systems • Experience in custom manufacturing, millwork, metal fabrication, or construction-related industries is an asset • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills • Hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail • Ability to communicate effectively with both office and production teams What We Offer • Competitive salary and benefits • Leadership role with growth opportunity • Stable and growing Canadian manufacturer • Collaborative team environment • Opportunity to help modernize systems and drive operational excellence Apply Today If you are ready to help lead one of Canada's premiere store fixture manufacturers, we'd love to hear from you.
