Position SummaryAt Home Instead, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment, employee engagement, training, and HR operations across our North Shore, Downtown Vancouver, and Victoria offices.This is a highly collaborative leadership role that plays a key part in shaping the employee experience for both our Care Professionals and office teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about building strong workplace culture, and enjoys developing teams that make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent AcquisitionLead and manage all recruitment efforts for Care Professionals and office staff across multiple business unitsDevelop proactive sourcing strategies through job boards, community partnerships, schools, referrals, and networking initiativesConduct interviews, candidate screening, hiring, and onboarding processesMaintain staffing pipelines to support operational growth and client demandSupport employer branding and recruitment marketing initiativesCare Professional Experience & EngagementServe as a primary support resource for Care Professionals throughout their employment journeyLead effective orientation programs ensuring we not only offer excellent training but are leaders in the industry when it comes to caring for seniorsBuild strong relationships with team members through ongoing communication, coaching, and supportCoordinate employee recognition initiatives, appreciation events, milestone celebrations, and engagement programsSupport retention strategies and promote a positive workplace cultureHelp ensure Care Professionals feel connected, valued, and supportedTraining & DevelopmentCoordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation programsOversee Care Professional training, continuing education initiatives, and compliance requirementsSupport leadership and professional development opportunitiesMaintain training records and ensure all certifications and documentation remain currentEmployee Relations & HR OperationsSupport managers with employee relations, coaching, performance management, and workplace concernsAssist with policy implementation and HR best practicesEnsure compliance with BC Employment Standards, WorkSafeBC requirements, privacy legislation, and company policiesMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationSupport payroll and benefits administration processes as requiredMulti-Unit Operational SupportPartner closely with operational leadership teams across North Shore, Downtown Vancouver, and VictoriaHelp create consistency in employee experience, communication, and HR practices across all business unitsTravel periodically between locations to support team engagement, recruitment initiatives, training, and eventsQualifications3–5+ years of progressive HR, recruitment, or workforce management experienceExperience in healthcare, hospitality, retail, or other service-based industries preferredStrong understanding of recruitment, employee engagement, and people operationsKnowledge of BC Employment Standards and HR best practicesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and ability to travel between locations as requiredPreferred QualificationsCPHR designation or working toward designation considered an assetExperience supporting multi-site operationsExperience with scheduling, workforce coordination, or staffing environmentsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of $60,000-$70,000 + benefits + bonus programPersonal day programMonthly Bonus program (2026)Meaningful work with purpose-driven teamsGrowth and development opportunitiesSupportive leadership environment with specialized coaching programOpportunity to make a direct impact on employee experience and organizational cultureJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company eventsDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careMileage reimbursementOn-site parkingPaid time offProfit sharingWellness programAbility to commute/relocate:West Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Application question(s):3–5+ years of progressive HR, recruitment, or workforce management experienceValid Driver's LicenseExperience:HR: 3 years (preferred)
