About this role

About the position The Regional FP&A Manager is responsible for quantitative business analysis and reporting across Canadian districts, and branches while driving financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across an assigned territory. This role partners closely with regional leadership, branch teams, and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, meaningful business insights, and decision support aligned with Canadian operations, regulatory requirements, and company objectives. Responsibilities • Lead the regional budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and timelines. • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency. • Collaborate with the region leadership team, operations leaders, and other field staff to understand business drivers and support strategic initiatives. • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and executive summaries. • Support scenario modeling, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, financial procedures, and applicable Canadian regulatory requirements. • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting tools. • Leading and/or supporting miscellaneous projects as directed by region management • Conduct payroll, operating expense, and overhead analysis to improve operating efficiencies and expense leverage across Canadian branch operations. • Providing tracking and analysis for product launch and targeted growth initiatives • Provide financial and analytical support to Canadian branches for daily, month-end, and year-end processes. • Monitoring and addressing asset control practices and issues in the region. • Developing recommendations to address audit issues and opportunities for improvement • Conducting and/or supporting investment analysis related to capital expenditures, acquisitions and greenfield locations. • Additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience, preferably supporting multi-site operations within Canada. • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). • Excellent communication and business partnering skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-haves • a CPA designation or MBA is considered an asset.
