Junior Electrical Engineer at WSP

Shape the future of mining and industrial projects as a Junior Electrical Engineer with WSP in the Greater Toronto Area. This role focuses on electrical systems for new construction and brownfield projects. You will leverage your electrical engineering expertise and collaborate closely with project managers and technicians. Your contributions will enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency in the mining and industrial sectors across Canada. Key Responsibilities: • Build relationships with project stakeholders for clear communication • Prepare quantity takeoffs for precise budget estimations • Verify and prepare technical deliverables and tender documents • Supervise technicians and draftspeople in project execution • Support project managers through documentation and technical guidance Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • 5+ years experience in industrial or mining electrical design • Consulting engineering experience is a plus • ASP Construction safety card; occasional travel required • Strong attention to detail and collaboration skills Bring your electrical engineering skills to WSP and drive impactful solutions in industrial projects.
