Senior Manager, Quality ResponsibilitiesAct as the key point leader and day-to-day champion for quality excellence in the AreaPromote a culture of quality through biweekly Operations meetings, Area-wide presentations, project team meetings, site walk-throughs, and other ongoing ad-hoc interactions and meetings throughout AreaDevelop and maintain an appropriate team structure for full-time quality management personnel to service individual sectors and specific client requirementsDevelop quality management narratives for proposal submissions, including approaches for quality staff resourcingContribute to project bidding process and identification of key quality assurance and quality control personnel to suit specific job challenges and risksHelp facilitate the execution of quality management activities, including ongoing communication with key subcontractors on mechanisms for effective quality management and associated benefitsConnect project teams with available resources in Corporate support such as Construction Sciences and Enterprise IntelligencePromote Best Practices, Lessons Learned, Tools and Templates and hold project teams accountable for ongoing implementationIn partnership with the Corporate QA Department and Construction Sciences, develop practical training materials and workshops to resolve gaps in the implementation of effective quality managementContinuously improve quality management system, tools, and templates to adapt to changing needs and client requirements across all projectsConduct project quality audits and hold project teams accountable for execution of audit action plansQualificationsArchitectural and/or Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training in addition to a minimum of 10 years of field experience in constructionAbility to champion and lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives across all building types and throughout all sectorsWorking knowledge of pertinent regulations, codes, and specifications related to the construction industryStrong interpersonal, team leadership, and relationship building skillsStrong negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Professional Engineering or Architecture License is an assetThe salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000We are an equal opportunity employer.
