As a Data Analyst in the Data Office stream of GRO Operations, you will take part in an 18 months rotational experience where you’ll help shape data-driven decision-making and transform operations by leveraging data as a strategic asset. You will gain hands-on exposure to areas such as Customer Experience, Data Analytics, and Continuous Improvement while receiving structured learning, core skills training, mentorship, and leadership exposure. This role sits in Montreal, Quebec with a Hybrid working arrangement and is posted with the tag #LI - Hybrid. ### What you will do day-to-day You will help design and deliver data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve how we work and make decisions. Expect to collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact, end-to-end solutions and contribute across the full lifecycle—from idea to deployment and ongoing improvement. You will: - identify opportunities to use data, automation, and AI to drive measurable outcomes, and communicate effectively while continuously growing your technical, analytical, and business skills. Depending on your interests and team placement, you may contribute across one or more of the following areas: - Data Solutions Engineer: Build and deliver end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion and transformation to modelling and visualisation; develop scalable data pipelines and architectures to power analytics and AI use cases; translate business needs into impactful dashboards, reports, and data products (e.g., Power BI); apply strong data governance and quality practices. - Business Analyst (Digitisation and Automation): Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for automation and improvement; turn business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and process maps; lead or support analysis for automation and AI initiatives, including prioritisation and benefits tracking; support testing, change readiness, and stakeholder communication. - Developer (Automation and Digital Solutions): Design and build automation and digital solutions using Power Platform, Azure, and modern programming tools; develop AI-enabled applications and workflows using Azure AI, Copilot, and related technologies; turn business requirements into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions and optimise, troubleshoot, and enhance applications. ### Who we’re looking for You are expected to graduate in Spring 2027 from an accredited university with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. We seek strategic thinkers with a customer-centric focus and strong analytical and problem-solving skills—people who can use data to tell a story and make data-driven decisions. Technical skills and experience called out in this role include: - Microsoft Power Suite knowledge is considered a strong asset, or experience with comparable automation tools and data visualization tools. - Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, integration, or data-related tasks. - Exposure to Azure, APIs, cloud concepts, or low-code platforms is an asset. - Experience with Power BI and familiarity with AI-enabled tooling such as Copilot are referenced within the workstreams. We also look for a curious and open mind, creative thinking, a proactive and flexible attitude, excellent time management, planning, and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders. An understanding of the financial services industry, including wealth and asset management, is noted. ### Compensation, application and benefits Salary range is expected to be between $70,000.00 CAD - $90,000.00 CAD. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
