About the Role

This full‑time, permanent role reports to the Director of Fleet Business Management, overseeing the Fleet Safety, Training, and Compliance Unit. You’ll manage staff, budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your skills will drive improvements, while your leadership fosters teamwork and high performance in a crucial municipal function.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of fleet safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement safety training programs.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance and budgets.
• Liaise with management on safety and compliance issues.
• Investigate critical injury collisions and recommend actions.
Requirements
• Post‑secondary education in a relevant field.
• Extensive management experience in large organizations.
• Proven experience with budget management.
• Certification in collision investigation and driving safety.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License.
