Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Administrator to join our supply chain team. This role is vital in managing warehouse distribution, transportation, procurement, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless operations across our logistics network. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with ERP systems such as AS400 and Warehouse Management Systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain management, freight, and 3PL partnerships. Duties
• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities, including shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials management
• Manage procurement processes and sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services
• Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) for scheduling, routing, and freight optimization
• Utilize ERP systems like AS400 and Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory levels, order status, and demand planning
• Analyze data related to supply chain performance to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
• Collaborate with 3PL providers to coordinate freight movement and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Support packaging operations and oversee order fulfillment accuracy
• Maintain accurate records of pricing, sourcing activities, and procurement documentation
• Assist in implementing process improvements related to warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, and materials handling
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during warehouse activities such as forklift operation and materials handling
Qualifications
• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials management within a supply chain environment
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (including AS400), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, and demand planning
• Data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for decision-making purposes
• Experience working with 3PL providers, freight carriers, and e-commerce logistics is preferred
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and inventory control
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments to implement process improvements and optimize supply chain workflows
• Strong communication skills suitable for coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams
