As of December 31, 2025, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $508 billion in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada’s largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.Role OverviewThe Vice President, Asset Allocation Product Management supports the management of TDAM’s multi-asset product platform, including risk profiled and model-based programs.Reporting to the Lead of Asset Allocation Product Management, this role is responsible for supporting product positioning, lifecycle management, and product development initiatives, ensuring alignment between investment capabilities, client needs, and distribution priorities.The role operates within TDAM's product model and partners closely with:Investment teams and Client Portfolio Management (CPM) to align product positioning with portfolio characteristicsProduct & Marketing Intelligence to support product enhancements and implementation activitiesDistribution and Marketing to support consistent and effective product positioningKey Accountabilities1. Product Performance & Commercial OversightMonitor product performance relative to benchmarks and peer groupsAssess AUM, flows, and client adoption patternsIdentify drivers of performance and positioning gapsSupport ongoing product reviews and recommend enhancements2. Product Positioning & Use Case MaintenanceMaintain clear product positioning across:Model portfolios and managed solutionsEnsure alignment between product design, portfolio construction, and client use casesSupport development of consistent product narratives across channels3. Lifecycle Management & Product StewardshipSupport ongoing management of the asset allocation product shelfContribute to product rationalization and shelf optimization initiativesAssist in periodic product reviews, updates, and repositioning effortsEnsure documentation and product materials remain current and accurate4. Market & Competitive AwarenessAnalyze competitor offerings and industry trends in multi-asset investingIdentify implications for product positioning and competitivenessSupport development of insights on:Managed solutionsModel-based programsRetirement solutions5. Stakeholder CoordinationAct as a key point of contact across Investments, CPM, Distribution, Legal, Risk, and MarketingSupport alignment between product strategy, positioning, and implementationSupport stakeholder discussions with accurate product information6. Product Development & Implementation SupportSupport product enhancement initiatives in partnership with Product & Marketing IntelligenceContribute to positioning and commercial input for product changes and new conceptsAssist with implementation activities across product changes and launches7. Product Documentation & GovernanceEnsure product offering documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with mandatesSupport governance processes, including product approvals and updatesMaintain adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policiesQualifications & Experience5–8 years of experience in asset management, product, investments, or strategyStrong understanding of multi-asset investing, including:Asset allocation frameworksPortfolio construction conceptsFamiliarity with investment vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs, model portfolios)Experience working with cross-functional teams in a regulated environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesPreferred: CFA designation or progress toward CFAPreferred: Experience supporting product lifecycle management or product development initiativesSuccess ProfileStrong ability to translate investment concepts into product positioningStrong attention to detail and structured thinkingEffective stakeholder management and collaboration skillsCommercial awareness and understanding of client needsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environmentWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
