To advance the mission and reputation of the institution, the hybrid remote Media and Communications Manager will develop and execute media strategies, serve as the primary liaison with public relations agencies, and create compelling content for diverse audiences. Key responsibilities Develop and implement media and communications strategies aligned with the University's mission and strategic priorities Coordinate media relations efforts, including story development, press releases, and media engagement activities Identify and cultivate compelling stories by building relationships across the University community Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field 3-5 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or a related field Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills for diverse audiences and platforms Experience with media relations and content development for digital platforms Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
