Job ID: 26-17121 Job Title: Applications Architect/ Solution Architect Location: Toronto, ON (ONSITE) Duration: 19+ Months Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $105-$110 per hour Job Description Key Responsibilities • Define and maintain enterprise, solution, and information architecture for large-scale distributed systems. • Design application, database, middleware, and integration architectures. • Develop architecture artifacts including business, solution, and information architecture documentation, logical data models, and information models. • Gather and define technical and information architecture requirements with stakeholders and obtain approvals. • Develop and maintain architecture standards, policies, best practices, and governance processes. • Support procurement activities, RFPs, vendor evaluations, and architecture reviews. • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and oversight throughout project delivery. • Conduct architecture assessments, feasibility studies, options analysis, and costing exercises. • Ensure security, privacy, accessibility (AODA), and enterprise architecture compliance. Required Skills • Strong experience in Enterprise, Solution, and Information Architecture. • Experience creating business architecture, solution architecture, and information architecture documentation. • Expertise in logical and information data modeling. • Experience defining technical and information architecture requirements. • Knowledge of architecture governance, standards, policies, and best practices. • Experience with CASE tools and architecture modeling tools. • Strong understanding of Information Management principles. • Knowledge of security, privacy, and accessibility requirements. • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with physical and digital credential ecosystems. • Experience leading architecture for large enterprise or government projects. • Knowledge of Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies and checkpoint deliverables.
