Responsibilities
•
Provide expert legal advice on employment law issues, including workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.
•
Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law to support client cases.
•
Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
•
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently when possible.
•
Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings as necessary.
•
Stay updated on changes in employment law to provide accurate guidance to clients.
•
Collaborate with other legal professionals and network to build clientele.
Requirements
•
Must be licensed by the LSO.
•
Must have three or more years of employment law experience.
•
Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research tools.
•
Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and persuasive legal documents.
•
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
•
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
