About the Role
Skyline Recruitment is representing a leading General Contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex institutional and healthcare projects across British Columbia.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major healthcare projects valued at $100M+. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished construction professional who has managed large-scale projects from pre-construction through to completion and enjoys leading high-performing teams.
This position offers a clear pathway to a Project Director role in the near future for the right individual.
What You'll Be Responsible For
• Leading major healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through to occupancy and handover.
• Managing project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client relationships.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
• Providing leadership and mentoring to Project Managers, Coordinators, and site teams.
• Managing procurement strategies and subcontractor negotiations.
• Overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, cost control, and change management.
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring quality assurance, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintaining strong relationships with healthcare authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Driving successful project close-out, commissioning, and deficiencies management.
What We're Looking For
• 10+ years of Project Management experience within the construction industry.
• Proven experience delivering large healthcare projects valued at $100M+ from start to finish.
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or large General Contractor is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare construction, complex scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional project delivery standards.
• Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
