Procurement Manager for Aecon Projects (Toronto)

Overview Join Aecon as a Procurement Manager overseeing major civil projects across Canada. Leverage your extensive procurement experience to define and execute project strategies within a cooperative team environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement and Subcontract, youll ensure compliance with Project Procurement standards. Collaborate closely with project teams including engineering, finance, and construction to enhance procurement effectiveness. Your leadership will guide a skilled team while managing major subcontract procurement and tracking compliance with contract conditions. Responsibilities Ensure adherence to Project Procurement standards and contract documents Develop and maintain integrated Project Procurement systems Lead procurement performance meetings with project teams Supervise Procurement staff on purchasing and service agreements Support Project Managers with buyout strategy and communication plans Qualifications 10+ years in procurement or related experience Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and contract law Proven negotiation skills in complex agreements Excellent communication abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP Utilize your expertise in procurement and construction to enhance Aecon's project delivery and performance.
