Job Summary
Optis Consulting is actively seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, or Montreal team. The Senior Consultant will develop ideas, initiatives, and activities aimed at the growth of the company—building strategic partnerships and making smart business decisions. The role takes an advisory approach with prospects and clients, striving to understand their unique requirements before providing recommendations related to the evaluation, justification, and implementation of solutions that best serve those needs.
Responsibilities
• Display credible knowledge of procurement processes and Source‑to‑Pay solutions.
• Champion Optis customers’ project work and implementations to ensure great success: develop client action plans, complete action plans, develop formal proposals, present proposals, and influence key decision‑makers.
• Work in collaboration with Source‑to‑Pay consultants, management, and business partners.
• Conduct follow‑up meetings with Optis customers to gauge the success of recommended changes.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, engage in lead generation activities, or work with partners for referrals.
• Sell Optis’ value proposition to senior‑level executives.
• Drive the profitable revenue needed to meet and exceed Optis’ annual targets.
• Continue to develop professional skills, mentor others, and seek mentorship.
Requirements
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in procurement, supply chain, or finance OR 3+ years of management consulting experience within a consulting or professional services environment.
• 2+ years of experience working with market‑leading Source‑to‑Pay solutions such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua, or Coupa.
• Experience in an advisory capacity, including support of Source‑to‑Pay strategy development, operating model design, maturity assessments, organizational structures, and analytical assessments.
• Proven experience leading and implementing projects, including managing stakeholders and driving outcomes.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and supporting applications, with procurement or supply chain domain knowledge. Financial acumen required to support credible executive‑level business discussions.
• University degree in Supply Chain Operations, Information Technology Management, Business Operations Management, International Business Management, or a related discipline.
