Internal Business Development Manager Full-Time | Mid-Level | Reports to the Chief Growth Officer Hybrid (minimum 2 in-office days per month) Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Internal Business Development Manager (IBDM) plays a critical support role within the Business Development team, focused on driving pipeline growth, responsiveness, and broker engagement. This is a junior, execution-focused role supporting external BDMs, managing inbound opportunities, and maintaining day-to-day broker relationships. The role is designed as a development path into a full Business Development Manager position. This role is intended to develop into a full Business Development Manager role based on performance, account management capability, and demonstrated sales growth. Key Responsibilities • Broker Engagement & Support: Act as a primary point of contact for inbound broker inquiries, respond to rate and product questions, and maintain strong service levels. • Pipeline & Deal Management: Triage incoming deals, assign to underwriting teams, monitor pipeline progress, and escalate delays. • Sales Support: Support external BDMs with account management, broker communication, and preparation for meetings. • Growth & Development: Build relationships with emerging broker partners and support onboarding of new accounts. • Internal Coordination: Liaise with underwriting, credit, and operations to ensure smooth deal execution. Requirements • 3–5 years experience in mortgage lending, broker support, or financial services. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Understanding of mortgage products preferred. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. • High responsiveness and service orientation.
