Entry-Level Business Analyst

Our client is searching for an inquisitive and motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to join their expanding operations in Des Moines, Iowa, US . This role is perfectly suited for a recent graduate eager to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and help define system enhancements and solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a foundational understanding of business operations. Key responsibilities include: Gathering and documenting business requirements from various stakeholders. Analyzing current business processes and identifying areas for improvement. Translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams. Assisting in the creation of process flow diagrams and use cases. Supporting the testing and implementation of new systems or features. Facilitating communication between business users and IT development teams. Preparing reports on project progress and findings. Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and gathering feedback. Contributing to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Familiarity with business process modeling concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Visio. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn about different business domains.
