About this role

Our client, a global leader in supply chain management, is seeking a talented Remote Supply Chain Analyst to optimize logistics operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to our success from anywhere. You will play a critical role in analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategic recommendations to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data modeling and visualization tools, and a comprehensive understanding of global logistics networks. You will work collaboratively with international teams to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods across our extensive network. Responsibilities: Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Develop and maintain sophisticated models to forecast demand, assess inventory levels, and optimize network flows. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to monitor supply chain performance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather data and implement process improvements. Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency and visibility. Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management. Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain disruptions and operational issues. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and logistics best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain strategy and execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations. Proven experience with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, JDA) and advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and optimization methods. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Experience working in a remote environment and utilizing collaboration tools is essential. Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus. APICS or similar supply chain certification is desirable.
