Job Title: Business Analyst- (Financial & Treasury Services) location: Toronto, Canada Experience: 8+ years Job Description: Mandatory Skills: Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Commercial Treasury Services 8+ years overall experience required Financial services experience required (Treasury preferred) Responsible for leading system requirements for application development Technical & Domain Expertise Strong understanding of banking systems and treasury workflows Experience with system integrations: APIs (REST, JSON/XML) Batch processing / file transfers Message queues Familiarity with mainframe integrations and flat files Experience with tools: Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow Postman (API testing) Ability to read system logs and support L3 issue analysis Soft Skills Ability to work independently Strong stakeholder management Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Detailed Job description: 8–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services. Strong, demonstrable experience in: Foreign exchange (FX) processing, confirmations, settlement instructions, and exception management. Internal (on‑us/intrabank) payments processing, including posting logic, real‑time and batch intrabank movement, and related controls. Cross‑border FX payments, including SWIFT MT/MX flows, correspondent banking relationships, FX conversion, and regional settlement practices. Understanding of PayPlus (D+H / Finastra) or similar secure payment‑processing and FX settlement solutions, such as: PayPlus FTS / PayPlus USA GPP (Global PAYplus) Dovetail / Fiserv Other secure high‑value or FX‑linked payment platforms Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payment systems, including: SWIFT ISO 20022 payment formats Fedwire / CHIPS (U.S.) Lynx / ACSS (Canada) Experience working with cross‑functional business and technology teams Thanks Dominic dominic@ampstek.com
