Supply Chain Director, Global Operations

Our client, a prominent global leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a visionary Supply Chain Director to orchestrate and optimize their international operations. This strategic position, based out of **Baltimore, Maryland, US**, will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the supply chain, encompassing procurement, logistics, inventory management, manufacturing support, and distribution. You will lead a dedicated team of supply chain professionals, driving efficiency, cost reduction, and service level improvements across all facets of the supply chain. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing global supply chain strategies, establishing robust supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to markets worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and best practices in supply chain management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage complex global networks. A commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is also paramount. You will play a critical role in enhancing our client's competitive advantage through a highly efficient and resilient supply chain. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential; a Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a director-level role within the FMCG industry, is required. Proven experience in global supply chain operations and a strong understanding of ERP systems are critical. Excellent leadership and communication skills are a must.
