Job Description:· Role: IT Project Manager-Senior· Term: 12 months· Physical Working Location Downtown Toronto · In office - hybrid model, twice in office weekly (FCP, Bank place) (days that core dev team is in, likely Mon and Wed)· OT requirements: Weekends needed as implementation schedules require· Is this role remote? Tech PM will drive project delivery collaborating closely with cross functional teams. Must haves:8+ Years of experience in project managementAgile exp needed but BMO operates under a Agile/Waterfall hybrid modelTechnology PM needed (NOT a scrum master)Need to be comfortable working with other teams at bank (4-5 dif tech teams who will deliver components of overall project) and dif moving partsCommunication is keyUnderstanding nuanceAnticipate escalationsTech skills important but come second to ability to problem solve and think quickly, has reliable instinct and can sus out problems before they happen, able to work cross functionally Nice to have:Bank experienceJira, confluence The North American and Commercial Banking (NACB) Technology PMO team is looking for a Sr Project Manager to support technology projects.• Project Manager - has end to end accountability for the successful completion of the project. Directs and coordinates team members in creation of project deliverables.• Core: Possesses an understanding of a least 1 line of business, and directs business and technology resources, user groups, internal and external consultants, and contractors and vendors.
