What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership
• Influence product strategy across the Consumer Revenue product suite, translating business goals into a team roadmap.
• Prioritize work across the product suite based on a clear view of revenue drivers, product maturity, and growth opportunities.
• Hire, coach, and develop product managers across the Consumer Revenue product suite.
• Set the bar for what good product work looks like - ownership, discovery rigor, and outcome accountability - and hold the team to it.
Cross-Org Influence & Alignment
• Secure Consumer Revenue product entry points on high-value Marketplace pages - listing detail pages, search results, and consumer dashboards.
• Escalate blockers and negotiate prioritization across Marketplace and Software orgs.
• Align with the Consumer Revenue Marketing lead on roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and lifecycle marketing.
• Drive alignment on complex, cross-functional initiatives by crafting compelling narratives supported by data, user insights, and business impact.
• Identify and champion new product opportunities grounded in customer insights and data.
Product Culture & Performance
• Establish a clear operating model across the team grounded in continuous discovery, rapid experimentation, and outcome-driven roadmaps.
• Define success metrics for the team - conversion, engagement, revenue contribution, and consumer satisfaction - and translate results into clear, consistent reporting.
• Ground product decisions in consumer and dealer understanding through regular research, data analysis, and direct customer engagement.
• Partner with marketing, analytics, and engineering to instrument products correctly and build the data infrastructure needed for sound decision-making.
What We're Looking For
• 8+ years of progressive Product Management experience, with 2+ years leading Product Managers and/or product teams.
• Demonstrated success in launching high-impact products at scale - ideally within digital marketplaces, classifieds or eCommerce.
• Strong track record of mentoring PMs and scaling empowered product teams.
• Deep understanding of product discovery and modern product practices (continuous discovery, experimentation, outcome-driven roadmaps, dual-track agile).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to align executives and energize teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability; fluency in working with data teams and product analytics
• Strong bias for action
Bonus Points:
• Experience in B2C and B2B marketplace ecosystems.
• Experience of mobile-first design and personalization in product experiences.
• Familiarity with SEO strategy
• Experience working within a Product Operating Model
• Experience working with major consumer brands and products
