šŸš€ We're Hiring: IAM Manager šŸ“ Location: 100% Remote (EST Time Zone) šŸ“„ Contract: 6-Month Contract šŸ” Security Clearance: Secret Clearance Required emergiTEL is seeking an experienced IAM Manager on behalf of our client in the professional services industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Identity and Access Management leader to drive enterprise IAM strategy, architecture, and engineering initiatives in a highly secure and complex environment. About the Role As the IAM Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise Identity and Access Management frameworks while overseeing engineering teams and strategic IAM programs. You will play a critical role in strengthening security, ensuring compliance, and delivering scalable identity solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. Key Responsibilities Identity Governance & Compliance āœ” Lead Identity Governance programs, including access certifications, audit controls, compliance requirements (SOX, OSFI), and user access reviews. āœ” Design and automate Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes for provisioning and deprovisioning. āœ” Develop and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), entitlement governance, and role-mining initiatives. āœ” Implement Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls to mitigate access risks. Architecture & Engineering āœ” Design and deploy enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect. āœ” Build authentication frameworks leveraging MFA, adaptive authentication, federation services, and identity providers. āœ” Architect scalable IAM solutions, provisioning workflows, and enterprise integrations. āœ” Engineer and support IAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, IBM Verify, and similar technologies. āœ” Develop automation solutions using Python and PowerShell to streamline IAM operations. āœ” Troubleshoot IAM systems to ensure security, availability, and optimal performance. Leadership & Stakeholder Management āœ” Lead and mentor IAM engineering teams while delivering strategic security initiatives. āœ” Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define IAM strategies, policies, and governance models. āœ” Conduct requirements analysis, gap assessments, risk reviews, and compliance audits. āœ” Create technical documentation, training materials, and user guides. āœ” Deliver training sessions and promote IAM best practices across the organization. Qualifications āœ… Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. āœ… 8+ years of Identity and Access Management experience with a strong focus on architecture and engineering. āœ… Proven leadership experience managing engineering or development teams. āœ… Hands-on expertise with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, and IBM Verify. āœ… Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, identity governance, access controls, authentication technologies, and security best practices. āœ… Advanced scripting skills in Python and PowerShell. āœ… Experience with risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security compliance programs. āœ… Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
