Title and Summary Vice President, Product Management Overview Mastercard’s Security Solutions organization develops and delivers world-class security products and services for customers across the globe. SSO was established to safeguard all aspects of safety and security in payments with new products, services and standards. Fraud and chargebacks disrupt the entire payments ecosystem, driving both card issuers and merchants to focus on resolving disputes instead of increasing card acceptance and revenue. Ethoca’s Alerts and First Party Trust changes the dialogue creating a rich environment for issuers and merchants to resolve disputes before they become chargebacks reducing frustration and driving repeat spend. The Product CoFounder of Ethoca Alerts will lead the team to manage and operate the product, drive new product ideas to grow revenue, drive and communicate a clear product roadmap, understand our customers, their needs and work in partnership to develop compelling go-to-market strategy and will support our sales and account managers to drive sales and product usage. In this role, you will drive requirements working closely with our customers and partners, and lead business architecture and go-to-market execution of Alerts and FPT and be the primary product advocate for both. This position will report directly to the SVP of Product Management. This role requires a curious, thoughtful and analytical person with drive and passion for payments, fraud and customer experience: • Lead the rapid evolution of the Alerts and FPT product strategies, and ensure that our rich value proposition is fully delivered through our existing and current solutions; • Be the market face for both products with internal sales teams globally and Ethoca’s most influential merchant and card issuing customers; • Manage all aspects of the product including the P&L, analysis, recommendations and implementation for segmentation, solution packaging and overall commercialization, including pricing; • Establish and maintain strong two-way communications with our go-to-market teams, customers and partners – chair periodic regional meetings and innovation workshops; • Support the evaluation, piloting and launch of new capabilities in each region; establish feedback and continuous improvement processes; develop regional product launch playbooks; • Monitor and assess risk of both existing and emerging competitive solutions, seeking to differentiate core capabilities, features and functions to ensure consistent competitive advantage in the marketplace; • Develop clear, convincing and data-driven business cases for significant new growth investments; • Coach and inspire a high-performing product team and cultivate an entrepreneurial culture of ownership and accountability. All About You: The ideal candidate will have broad and extensive experience with: • Experience in Payments, Card Fraud and/or Disputes, E-commerce, Financial Services is desired, experience in Technology product management is a must; • Ability to hit the ground running, adapt quickly and take an action-oriented, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to execution that focuses on measurable results; • Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently and constructively challenges team to drive continuous improvement; • Exceptional commitment to product management discipline and best practices; process-oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products delivered to the market; • Hands-on, resourceful and nimble with a track record turning strategy into execution and measurable outcomes; • Open, transparent and highly collaborative leader who builds trusted relationships across teams and geographies, and sets a personal standard of excellence that others aspire to. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
