Job Title: Resource Manager - HR Function: ETS Super-Department Resource Planning / Workforce Management Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite/in-office presence required 3x/week) Years of experience: 5-7 Notes: Team takes care of resource management for the ETS division. Responsible for helping teams to onboarding new resources. Responsible for opening and closing positions. Advising teams when needed. Supports clients in US and Canada. Works in EST timezone. Interview Process: 1st round via Zoom – evaluation of previous background, communication skills, and their understanding of resource management 2nd round onsite – face-to-face interview with senior stakeholder Position Summar yWe are seeking a Resource Planner to support workforce planning, resource governance, and operational execution within departments part of a broader division. This is an individual contributor role focused on accurate execution, strong controls, and high-quality reporting, working closely with Business Management, HR, Finance, Recruiting, and Vendor Management . The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, comfort working with data and processes, and the ability to manage recurring workflows in a highly governed environment. This role is well suited for someone building depth in workforce management, resource planning, or business management within Technolog y. Key Responsibilit iesResource Transactions & Execut ionExecute day-to-day workforce and resource management transactions, including hiring, internal moves, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor-related reque stsSupport staffing plan updates and headcount tracking in line with approved budgets and pl ansCoordinate with managers and business partners to ensure requests are reviewed and approved in accordance with firm polic iesData Integrity & Governa nceMaintain accuracy and consistency of workforce data across systems of rec ordIdentify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, exceptions, and incomplete workfl owsSupport governance processes by maintaining trackers, documentation, and audit-ready reco rdsReporting & Analy sisProduce standard workforce reports and recurring analyses (e.g., headcount, hiring activity, vacanci es)Support ad-hoc data requests with clear, well-structured out putEnsure reporting is timely, accurate, and presented in a consistent for matStakeholder Supp ortAct as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day workforce and resource planning questi onsPartner closely with Divisional management to ensure accuracy of strat egyCommunicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across regions and seniority lev elsProcess & Tool Supp ortFollow established processes and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and data qual itySupport adoption of centralized workforce reporting fostering standardized ways of work ingEscalate issues appropriately when risks, delays, or data concerns are identif ied Required Qualificat ions5-7 years of relevant experience in resource planning, workforce management, business management, operations, business analysis, project coordination, or procure mentBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Technology, HR, or a related f ieldIntermediate Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with structured dataStrong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accu racyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadl inesSelf-starter mindset with attention to detail and follow-thr oughBasic understanding of headcount, staffing plans, or labor budgeting conc epts Preferred Qualifica tionsExperience within financial services, technology, or another large, global organiz ationFamiliarity with workforce, HR, or vendor management sy stemsExperience working in a governed or compliance-driven operating enviro nmentInterest in process improvement, automation, or reporting standardiz ation
