Atlassian Consultant

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Atlassian Consultant to support and enhance our enterprise Atlassian environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence Cloud, along with experience supporting both cloud and on-premises Atlassian environments. This role requires a self-sufficient professional who can quickly contribute without extensive training, work independently, and provide best-practice solutions aligned with enterprise standards and governance. Key Responsibilitie • Administer and support Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence Cloud • Design, configure, and enhance Jira and JSM solutions based on business requirements • Build and maintain JSM portals, request types, forms, queues, SLAs, workflows, and automations • Configure and support Jira projects, workflows, permissions, screens, and field configurations • Manage Confluence spaces, including standardization, cleanup, governance, and migration activities • Design and troubleshoot Atlassian Automation rules and workflows • Use advanced JQL for reporting, troubleshooting, and operational analysis • Perform Jira and Confluence migration activities, including cloud-to-cloud and on-premises-to-cloud migrations • Conduct impact analysis before implementing changes in shared environments • Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend scalable solutions • Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, changes, and migration activities Required Skills & Experience: • Strong hands-on experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence Cloud. • Experience supporting large enterprise Atlassian environments. • Knowledge of Atlassian cloud migration projects and legacy on-premises environments • Expertise in Jira administration, workflows, permissions, automation, and governance • Strong JSM implementation and administration experience • Experience with advanced JQL and reporting • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with Atlassian Analytics. • Knowledge of Xray, Scheduler, and other Atlassian Marketplace applications. • Experience integrating GitHub with Jira. • Familiarity with Atlassian Intelligence (Rovo/AI capabilities) • Experience working within governed enterprise environments using standardized templates and processes.
