Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Medical Administrator to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office settings, possess strong administrative skills, and be proficient with our EMR- Accuro. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy at the front desk
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using electronic medical records system Accuro
• Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately
• Verify patient identification and healthcard information insurance information and update records accurately
• Collect and process payments, co-pays, and billing information
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits and administrative records
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Ensure the front office remains organized, clean, and welcoming
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Experience
• Prior experience as a medical office administrator is required
• Knowledge of Accuro electronic medical records system is essential
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
• Proven experience in office administration within a healthcare setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems and managing busy front desks
This role requires a dedicated individual committed to providing excellent patient service while maintaining efficient administrative operations. Prior experience in a medical office will be considered a significant advantage, experience working in a physio/ chiropractic clinic is a bonus.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
