Job Description: The Senior Business Management Analyst role supports operational oversight of Payments Services Technology, which includes financial and headcount forecasting, budgeting, and variance tracking across the portfolio. This role partners closely with other areas of business including Finance, HR, Vendor Management, Sourcing, Talent Acquisition, etc. to ensure spend aligns with priorities and supports leadership by providing insights and risks to inform decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Management, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in data analysis, along with a high degree of accuracy in reporting and forecasting. This role requires strong business acumen and relationship-building skills and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing reporting to ensure it is current, accurate, and reconciled with GL and Clarity data. Key Responsibilities Provide business management related advice / support to management / leadership and respective teams for area(s) of specialization with industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness; understand trends, identify issues and opportunities and provide recommended action to management Support / manage the integrated implementation of policies / processes / procedures / changes in across multiple functional areas Support monthly and quarterly financial cadences (e.g., Monthly Portfolio Review, Headcount reporting, etc) Support planning and forecasting activities in Clarity, ensuring an accurate financial view across the Portfolio and multiple sources Develop and maintain reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with GL and Clarity data Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and operational efficiency Act as conduit/coordinator/facilitator bringing in appropriate partners/ expertise on key initiatives Contribute to the development/delivery of presentations/ communications to management or broader audiences Develop and/or implement standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize availability of service, efficiency and effectiveness Employee/Team Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure the timely communication of issues/points of interest Participate in personal performance management and development activities, including cross training within own team and other Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners/ stakeholders to develop productive working relationships Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce Breadth & Depth Expert knowledge and understanding of the operating environment, business processes and procedures, and transaction lifecycle for own area and as applicable across TDS Considered a subject matter expert within own unit Executes on more complex and/or non-standard processes and requests of high complexity and risk/financial impact Researches and investigates a range of operational/reporting/ process issues May need to coordinate/integrate work with other areas as needed Provides advanced analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas or centres of expertise High level of complexity in operational/reporting/process and/or analysis function requiring medium to longer term focus Experience and/or Education Undergraduate degree/ college diploma 7+ years relevant experience and/or post-graduate degree and/or certifications in Financial Analysts & Reporting Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and generate actionable insights Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, SharePoint, and familiarity with Tableau, Clarity PPM, and agile/Next Evolution of Work environments Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight while delivering high-quality results, and collaborate effectively as part of a team Who We Are: TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
