Job Title: IT Business Analyst (75%) / Product Owner (25%) Location: Pickering, Ontario (Onsite) Mode of work: Contract Mode of Interview: Phone interview followed by In-Person interview Mode of work: Hybrid (4days-onsite and 1 day remote) Duration: 12 Month s Job Descripti on The client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with 12+ years of experience supporting enterprise business systems, operational process improvement, and technology delivery initiatives. This role is primarily focused on Business Analysis responsibilities (75%) with additional Product Ownership exposure (25%), supporting both strategic initiatives and operational delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and affiliated organizations to define requirements, coordinate solution delivery, and support enterprise applications across warehouse, supply chain, logistics, and ERP operatio ns.Strong knowledge of Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Management (SCM), ERP platforms, and operational workflows is required. Experience with Oracle TM, AS400, Infor LX/BPCS, Techsys and ShipIT environments is considered a strong asset. The successful candidate must be capable of bring ingup business and technology teams while supporting both project delivery and ongoing operational suppo rt. Key Responsibili ties Accountability #1: Identify and Define Business & System Require ments Key Responsibil • ities:Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and • systemrequir • ementsConduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions across operational and corporate • teamsTranslate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, process maps, user st • ories,and solution documen • tationAnalyze current-state and future-state business pro • cessesSupport gap analysis, process optimization, and solution recommend • ationsCollaborate with development teams to clarify business rules and technical requir ements Accountability #2: Project Coordination & Delivery Support Key Responsib • ilities: Support project planning, coordination, and delivery activities across multiple initiatives Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeh • olders toensure successful delivery Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives Assist with prioritization activities and support Product Owner responsibilities where • requiredTrack risks, issues, dependencies, and action items related to project • deliveryEnsure alignment between business objectives and technical imple mentation Accountability #3: System Testing & Implementati on Support Key Respon • sibilities: Develop and coordinate test scenarios, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT • ) activitiesSupport defect identification, triage, and resolution • coordinationValidate implemented solutions against business requirements and accepta • nce criteriaAssist with deployment readiness, implementation planning, and production rollou • t activitiesSupport change management and user adoption initiatives Accountability #4: Production Support, Reporting & amp; Training Key Res ponsibilities: Provide production support coordination and operational issue analysis Support troubleshooting activities involving ERP, warehouse, logistics, and inte grated businesssystemsAssist with operational reporting, KPI analysis, and bu siness insightsDevelop training materials, process documentation, and user guidesConduct end-user training and knowledge tr ansfer sessionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and operational optim ization efforts Required Skills & Experience 12+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or related enterprise delivery roles .Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equiv alent experience)Strong experience working with both business stakeholders and technic al delivery teams Solid understanding of Warehouse Operations and Supply Chai n Management (SC M)Experience with:o ERP System like AS400 / IB M i environments ,o Warehouse and shipping platforms such as Oracle TM, Techsys and ShipIT Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience supporting dealer/distribu tion business modelsAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced ent erprise environmentsITIL v4 (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, and Confi guration Management)Project and portfolio management (Agile , Waterfall, Hybrid) Communication and • Collaboration Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-t • echnical team members.Demonstrated skill in collaborative work across departments, with a focus on knowledge sharing ad team-ori • ented problem-solving.The ideal candidate is someone who can comfortably bridge the gap between operations, business teams, and technology teams.
