In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will take charge of the full employee lifecycle, partnering with leadership to optimize hiring and improve team engagement. Reporting to the President, you will build systems for performance management and cultural growth that define Academy's unique identity. Your proactive approach will contribute to creating a healthy and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end hiring processes for various teams
• Maintain team morale and engagement through initiatives
• Establish and run performance review cycles
• Oversee compensation planning and HR processes
• Ensure compliance with Ontario employment standards
Requirements:
• 5-8+ years in HR or People Ops experience
• Proven ability to operate as a solo HR function
• Strong experience in hiring and employee experience
• Familiarity with HR systems, preferably HiBob
• Solid understanding of Ontario employment practices
