SRE / DevOps Engineer – Dynatrace & Observability

Position: SRE / DevOps Engineer – Dynatrace & Observability Location: Onsite- Toronto, ON Job type: Full-Time/Permanent Hiring Job Description We are looking for a skilled SRE / DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on reliability, automation, and observability to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale monitoring and infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Dynatrace combined with strong cloud, automation, and CI/CD skills to drive operational excellence and platform reliability. Roles & Responsibilities • Deploy and manage Dynatrace including APM, Davis AI, RUM (Real User Monitoring), and infrastructure monitoring across enterprise environments • Leverage Davis AI for root cause analysis, anomaly detection, predictive insights, and alert optimization • Manage OneAgent, Smartscape, distributed tracing, SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and alerting configurations • Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for deployments, provisioning, patching, and automated remediation • Work hands-on with AWS (primary) and Azure cloud platforms, including serverless and cloud-native architectures • Provision infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI, integrating monitoring tools into delivery workflows • Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/AKS, ensuring High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and effective incident response • Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python (boto3) and Bash • Work with native cloud monitoring tools including CloudWatch and Azure Monitor, with exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK considered a plus Primary Skills Dynatrace | Davis AI | APM | RUM | OneAgent | Smartscape | SLIs/SLOs | Ansible | AWS | Azure | Terraform | CloudFormation | CDK | Jenkins | GitHub Actions | GitLab CI | Docker | Kubernetes | ECS | AKS | Python | Boto3 | Bash | CloudWatch | Azure Monitor | Prometheus | Grafana | ELK
