Communications & PR Specialist Downtown Toronto | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office) A well-established organization is seeking a polished and dynamic Communications & PR Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in public relations, media, or journalism, combined with exceptional writing skills and the ability to craft compelling communications across multiple platforms and audiences. What You’ll Be Doing: • Develop and manage internal and external communications initiatives • Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and corporate communications • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and external stakeholders • Create engaging written content for a variety of platforms including web, social media, leadership communications, newsletters, and marketing materials • Partner closely with leadership teams and internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization • Support brand reputation and communications strategy initiatives • Assist with messaging, media opportunities, and communications planning during key business initiatives and events What We’re Looking For: • 5–10 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Media, or Journalism • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities • Experience writing for multiple channels and audiences with a strong attention to tone and messaging • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with executives and teams across the organization • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment • Professional services, corporate, agency, or media experience is highly preferred This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and highly professional environment where communications plays a strategic role within the business.
