Wholesale Account Manager — Gry Mattr Location: Toronto, ON Company: Gry Mattr / Joseph Mimran & Associates Type: Full-time Gry Mattr is a growing lifestyle brand creating elevated, design-forward products across stationery, home, gifts, glassware, candles, accessories, and more. We work with major retailers, independent boutiques, sales agencies, and distributors across Canada, the U.S., and international markets. We are looking for a highly organized and commercially minded Wholesale Account Manager to manage key retail and wholesale accounts, support rep groups and distributors, prepare for trade shows, track sales performance, and help identify new opportunities for growth. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, confident with customers, analytical, and excited to work in a fast-paced product and wholesale environment. Key Responsibilities Key Account Management • Manage and support relationships with key retail and wholesale accounts. • Prepare account presentations, product information, pricing sheets, order forms, and follow-up materials. • Track customer needs, order status, sample requests, sell-through feedback, and reorder opportunities. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure accounts receive accurate and timely information. • Support account growth through proactive follow-up, product recommendations, and clear communication. Rep Group & Distributor Management • Act as a key point of contact for sales representatives, rep groups, and distributors. • Ensure external sales teams have updated line sheets, pricing, product images, samples, catalogues, and sales tools. • Follow up on leads, customer feedback, account opportunities, and showroom activity. • Help maintain momentum with rep groups through clear communication, organization, and accountability. • Track rep group performance, opportunities, and follow-up needs. Trade Shows & Sales Events • Assist with planning and execution for trade shows, markets, and sales appointments. • Prepare booth materials, samples, order forms, price lists, catalogues, and customer outreach. • Support on-site sales appointments and customer meetings when required. • Follow up with leads and opportunities after shows. • Track trade show performance, opportunities, and next steps. Sales Reporting & Analysis • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports. • Track sales by account, product category, collection, territory, and sales channel. • Identify trends, bestsellers, slow-moving products, and reorder opportunities. • Help create clear summaries and recommendations based on sales data. • Maintain accurate records of account activity, sales opportunities, and customer follow-up. New Business Development • Research and identify potential new wholesale accounts, retailers, distributors, and sales partners. • Support outreach campaigns and follow up with prospective accounts. • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, opportunities, and account activity. • Help identify opportunities to expand Gry Mattr’s wholesale presence in Canada, the U.S., and international markets. Internal Coordination • Work closely with product development, operations, customer service, marketing, and leadership. • Help ensure sales materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned with product launches. • Coordinate sample requests, account needs, pricing updates, and launch information. • Help improve sales systems, reporting tools, and account management processes as the business grows. Qualifications • 2–5 years of experience in wholesale sales, account management, sales support, retail buying, consumer products, or a related field. • Experience working with key accounts, independent retailers, rep groups, or distributors is an asset. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Comfortable working with sales data, spreadsheets, reporting, and account tracking. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Confident presenting products and communicating with customers and external sales partners. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Interest in design, lifestyle products, home, stationery, gifts, or retail is a strong asset. • Experience with trade shows, wholesale markets, or showrooms is an asset.
