Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Business Analyst to capture and translate business requirements within agile development cycles- 2026 - 026
Join a project supporting business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated technical environment. This role strengthens the client’s agile delivery capacity by defining high-quality requirements and user stories that drive system and process enhancements. The assignment provides visibility across operations, IT, and the Project Management Office, offering direct impact on digital modernization initiatives.
Contract, Vancouver, Hybrid, Working Hours: PST
Must Haves
• 2-5 years in business analysis supporting agile teams and iterative delivery environments
• Proficiency in requirements elicitation, user story documentation, and translation of operational needs into system requirements
• Experience with business transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Certification in business analysis or process development (e.g. IIBA)
• Degree and relevant professional experience
Nice to Have
• Experience working in a regulatory environment
• Background in quality management or structured process development
Responsibilities
• Design and analyze business problems to clarify needs and define solutions
• Collect and structure business rules, requirements, and user stories
• Facilitate workshops to capture, share, and validate requirements and decisions
• Plan and coordinate business readiness activities alongside IT agile development
• Translate operational and technical requirements ensuring alignment of priorities
• Analyze and optimize existing processes; define new procedures and performance metrics
• Document, publish, and maintain knowledge of processes, decisions, and improvements
