Financial Analyst in Canada - Hybrid Role

Join Fasken's Firmwide Finance Department as a Financial Analyst. This hybrid position requires a blend of financial analysis, management reporting, and budgeting skills. We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support our accounting team in any of our Canadian offices. The role involves creating financial performance reports, managing budgeting processes, and engaging in detailed financial analysis. You will contribute to our financial forecasting and provide vital insights to management, enhancing organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and post monthly and annual journal entries • Analyze financial results, identifying budget variances • Prepare financial performance packages for leadership • Support budget development and financial forecasting • Maintain key balance sheet schedules and reconciliations Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years in financial analysis or accounting • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or accounting • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Knowledge of GAAP/ASPE standards • Experience with financial reporting software like 3E or Elite Enterprise Leverage your accounting skills and enhance Fasken’s financial operations as a Financial Analyst. #J-18808-Ljbffr
