On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst, Capital Markets - US Regulatory Reporting for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Business Analyst, Capital Markets - US Regulatory Reporting - Job Description:
This role involves working on a new business initiative where the Futures Business is establishing clearing capabilities for Equity Index Options and Single Stock Options on behalf of Institutional Clients via the OCC. The project impacts EBS, QFC, and CAT regulatory reports, requiring documentation of requirements and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Business Analyst, Capital Markets - US Regulatory Reporting - Responsibilities:
• Document requirements for all impacted regulations while working with key stakeholders (Front Office, Business, Technology, Compliance)
• Track implementation and stakeholder communications
• Document and execute UAT Test Cases
• Support PIV and provide assistance as needed
Business Analyst, Capital Markets - US Regulatory Reporting - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related subject
• 5+ years experience as a senior business/data analyst or equivalent role in regulatory operations
• Demonstrated experience with two of the US Regulatory Reports: CAT, EBS, TRACE, MSRB, QFC, Volcker TVM, 13DGH, LOPR, OCEND, OFR NCCBR, FR-Y15
• Extensive understanding of financial products (Equities, Listed Derivatives, Fixed Income, and/or OTC Derivatives) and regulatory reporting requirements
• Understanding of the trade life cycle (Orders, Executions, Allocations) required
• Ability to conduct Data Mapping and document requirements in JIRA, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
Business Analyst, Capital Markets - US Regulatory Reporting – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Big 4 Consulting/Advisory experience (2+ years preferred)
• Proficiency with vendor OMS like Fidessa, Broadridge is preferred
• Understanding of Middle Office Trade Processing
• Experience with data strategy, data governance, or analytics initiatives preferred
