Job Description
As a member of the Canadian Leadership Team, the Director, Lending and MR will lead a team responsible for all referral marketing programs while partnering closely with the Sales organization to drive growth in our Commercial business through hybrid marketing and Corporate Card acquisition strategies.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Canadian market, a strong strategic mindset, and the ability to effectively lead and develop a high-performing team of marketers. They will bring a competitive, results-driven mindset and will be responsible for driving sustainable growth through the acquisition of new customers across our Consumer and Commercial Card portfolios.
Responsibilities
• Lead a team of talented marketers, with a focus on driving results, colleague development, and engagement.
• Partner with the SME and Large Market Sales organizations to drive growth in Commercial acquisition through hybrid and self-generated acquisition strategies.
• Define the strategic vision for all referral marketing programs, including Member Get Member for Consumer and Small Business Cards and Partners Plus for Commercial Cards.
• Oversee Corporate Card acquisition application and onboarding journeys for new prospects, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to optimize the client experience.
• Collaborate across lines of business to develop enterprise-wide strategies in partnership with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Legal.
• Leverage data, analytics, and market insights to optimize acquisition performance and inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Digital marketing or sales experience with a proven track record of challenging the status quo to drive business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of card economics and key business drivers, experience managing inputs to a P&L, and a proven track record of identifying and executing opportunities to drive revenue and enhance profitability.
• Outstanding communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messages.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of inclusion and belonging by embracing diverse perspectives through open communication, constructive feedback, and candid dialogue.
The stated salary range represents the expected compensation for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
