Senior Legal Executive for Canada

Lead legal operations for Canadian sites as the Senior Legal Executive. Focus on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance while collaborating across borders with a focus on Mandarin. This role oversees all legal matters as the Head of Legal in Toronto, reporting to global leaders while working closely with teams in China and North America. You will develop legal strategies, manage compliance with federal and provincial laws, and drive effective governance frameworks across Canadian entities. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute legal strategy aligned with global objectives • Ensure compliance with Canadian corporate and regulatory laws • Establish governance frameworks and internal controls • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts • Manage disputes and oversee litigation strategies Requirements: • Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB from accredited law school • 5–8+ years legal experience, ideally in relevant sectors • Experience with multinational corporations and cross-border matters • Proficient in Canadian corporate and commercial law • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese required Lead a high-performing legal team to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
