Role Overview
Are you a leader who cares deeply about people, impact, and outcomes?
This role is an opportunity to lead with purpose—developing people, shaping behaviours, and delivering outcomes that directly impact how our business performs every day. The scorecards delivered by this team are used daily by frontline employees across Financial Planning and Broker Edge to guide decisions, drive performance, and determine compensation outcomes. As a result, your work will have a clear and tangible influence on how our salesforce operates and the value we deliver to our clients.
We are looking for a collaborative leader who brings a strong “we over me” mindset—someone who builds trust, leans into partnership, and prioritizes collective success. You take pride in delivering high-quality work, hold yourself and others accountable for outcomes, and are energized by improving how things work rather than maintaining the status quo. You naturally seek to simplify complexity and drive meaningful improvements, balance people leadership with business impact, and engage constructively with partners to align on the best outcomes.
The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Broker Edge Performance Management is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role responsible for the design, delivery, and evolution of scorecard and performance management frameworks supporting BMO’s Financial Planning workforce and Broker Edge third-party channel. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, performance management, compensation, and analytics, this role ensures that scorecards effectively drive performance, coaching, and compensation outcomes across a complex, multi-channel environment.
This role requires strong strategic judgment, partner leadership, and operational excellence, with regular exposure to senior leadership and accountability for translating enterprise priorities into scalable, data-driven solutions. It is best suited for a leader who is motivated by making a difference at scale—someone who understands that behind every metric and scorecard are real people, real behaviours, and real business outcomes.
