Role Description The Residential Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for overseeing residential restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion. This role involves planning project timelines, coordinating trades and suppliers, scheduling inspections, and ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and building code standards. The Residential Project Manager will manage budgets, monitor costs, handle change orders, and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Daily responsibilities include communicating with homeowners, insurance representatives, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and keep projects on track. The role also requires regular site visits to monitor progress, address on-site challenges, and ensure that deadlines and client expectations are met. Qualifications • Strong project management capabilities, including experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication (Project Management). • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and accelerate material orders, permits, and approvals to keep projects on schedule (Expeditor, Expediting). • Experience managing site inspections and ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards (Inspection). • Skills in organizing deliveries, trade schedules, and resource allocation to support efficient project execution (Logistics Management). • Previous experience in residential construction or restoration project management, preferably within the Toronto or Greater Toronto Area market. • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints. • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with homeowners, trades, and insurance partners. • Proficiency with project management and construction software, as well as standard office tools (e.g., MS Office, scheduling software). • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites within the Toronto area. • Relevant education or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is an asset.
