Investment Operations Analyst

Job Title: Operations Analyst I Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite: Tuesday–Thursday) Contract Duration: 6 months (extension possible) About the Role We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support proxy voting operations and ESG governance initiatives within a dynamic investment environment with our client in the financial services industry. This role offers strong exposure to data analytics, automation, and global stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Execute end-to-end proxy voting lifecycle including reconciliation and vote execution • Analyze operational data and deliver reporting insights • Support ESG stewardship and governance-related processes • Collaborate with internal teams, custodians, and vendors • Drive process improvements and automation using Power BI and Power Platform Key Requirements • 2+ years of experience in investment operations, data analysis, or related field • Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas; Power Query/VBA preferred) • Experience with Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, or workflow tools • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar Company Description Compunnel is a professional staffing and workforce solutions organization supporting clients across multiple industries throughout the United States.
