Role Description
The Strategic Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This role is responsible for managing and growing key client accounts, serving as a primary point of contact and trusted partner. Day-to-day activities include coordinating project deliverables, preparing and delivering strategic recommendations, supporting client requests, and identifying new opportunities to further develop your clients brand through strategic and tactical executions.
The Strategic Account Specialist will collaborate closely with internal creative, strategy, and development teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client objectives. The role also involves providing strategic ideation and direction, continually ensuring to be up to date on competitors executions and market activity.
Qualifications
• 5+ year of experience in a client side or agency environment is required in Canada.
• Previous experience in a strategic role focused on building brand awareness and executing tactical campaigns.
• Experience in working closely with key stakeholders and internal teams in executing national campaigns.
• Proficiency in Account Management, with experience building long-term client relationships and overseeing project delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
