Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI): On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) - Job Description: The role involves supporting ongoing data governance, CRM, and data hygiene projects while focusing on analyzing current state reporting to map, simplify, and migrate data assets to a new platform. The project is part of a major data modernization initiative, transitioning from legacy data infrastructure to Azure Databricks. Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) - Responsibilities: • Analyze and document existing legacy reports in SQL Server and Power BI. • Map legacy data transformations to new data products on Azure Databricks. • Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline reporting processes. • Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel to address data quality issues. • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams. • Collaborate with application owners to resolve data discrepancies. • Conduct root-cause analysis on data hygiene issues with CRM platforms. Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) - Mandatory Skills: • 5+ years as a Data/Business Analyst with data migration project experience. • Strong SQL experience, specifically with SQL Server. • 3-5 years of experience with Power BI, including DAX and dataflows. • Experience in Data Quality & Governance, particularly with CRM platforms like Salesforce. • Familiarity with Azure Databricks and cloud data platforms. Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) – Nice-to-Have Skills: • 2-3 years’ experience with Salesforce CRM platform. • Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders. • Experience with MDM (master data management) tools. • Experience in building data solutions and gathering requirements. • Previous experience with top banks or financial institutions. Business Data Analyst, CRM Quality & Governance (SQL & Power BI) – Assignment Length: The contract duration is from ASAP to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
