Business Analyst- GCP Repo

Job Title: Business Analyst- GCP Repo Onsite: Hybrid, 1 day a week Location: Toronto, ON Start Date: Immediate Interview Process: 2 rounds, 1 mandatory In-person Job Description: Junior to Senior Business Analyst Role – CW – Immediate Start -GCF Repo business: secured financing via repo/reverse repo and securities financing transactions supporting funding and liquidity management -Primary stakeholders include Secured Funding desks such as Repo Business and Securities Lending -Understanding of Repo business/trading -Experience with Apex a positive, not mandatory High Level: We are looking for a BA's to join on our Capital Markets Technology team for a 1 year or longer term to help the team with multiple Capital Markets Business projects and requirements. Our team: We specialize in Collateral and Funding Management along with performing Source and Uses Allocations to allow funding optimization within the Capital Market space. Business Stakeholders: Primarily work with the Capital Markets Central Funding Desk, but since this is a cross-asset collateral management platform, there will be opportunities to work on other desks and asset classes. Technology: Work on Databricks (with SQL and or Python) and Plotly dashboard for reporting and business analysis. Opportunities to work on PowerBI as well. Excel is always necessary. Critical Requirements: Capital Markets experience/knowledge Equities and Fixed Income Business Trade Lifecycle Collateral or Inventory Management Margins (IM/VM) Technology: SQL (minimal experience/knowledge should suffice) Excel/Pivot Tables Characteristics Proactive Self-Starter Quick Learner/Self Learner Tenacious: sees things through to the end without getting distracted. Organized and well-coordinated Communications Strong documentation and requirements gathering skill Good grasp of business and stakeholder communication and management Ability to communicate and guide developers and business to get to solutions or end goal. Strong interpersonal skill Good to haves: Capital Markets experience/knowledge Fund Transfer and Funding Business Global Markets Resource Management and Financing Triparty Technology: Databricks (unlikely to have experience) Data Analysis Tools Characteristics Tech-savvy and passionate about technology Trust and teamwork Strong interest and ability in problem solving Long term/Strategic thinking; as opposed to putting in quick fixes/solutions Addiitonal Points for these: Capital Markets experience/knowledge Source and Uses Allocations Fund Transfer Pricing Internalization and Internal Allocations Collateral Optimization
