Job Opportunity: SAP Ariba Functional Analyst (Contract) 📍 Location: Remote (Must be based in North America) / Ottawa, ON 📅 Contract Duration: September 1, 2026 – August 30, 2027 (with up to 2 years of potential extensions) ⏳ Expected Hours: Up to 1800 Hours (Approx. 240 Days) We are currently seeking a senior SAP Ariba Functional Analyst to join our team for an exciting long-term municipal contract. In this role, you will be providing critical post-go-live support, driving ongoing enhancements, and helping manage the integration between SAP Ariba and S/4 HANA. Analyze the functional impact of software interruptions and lead corrective actions for failed transactions. Configure the software to meet specific business requirements for planned system enhancements. Review vendor monthly and quarterly releases, and accurately document their impact on current solutions. Manage integration failures and escalate critical Ariba issues to SAP Inc. for swift resolution. Perform knowledge transfer and training to internal staff. 🎯 Required Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this role, candidates must strictly meet the following criteria: Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP version ECC 6.0. Minimum 5 years of experience with operational support/configuration of SAP Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable. Minimum 5 years of experience with the SAP Materials Management (MM) module. Minimum 2 years of experience supporting and configuring SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing modules. Strong working knowledge of the Ariba Network and Ariba-ECC integration using CIG (Purchase Requisitions & Payments). Education: A 3-year university degree or college diploma in Computer Information Systems (or a related discipline). Certifications: One or more official certifications related to SAP technologies, plus recent professional development courses completed within the last 3 years.
