Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting within a fast-growing, multi-site, multi-currency organization. This role is primarily focused on balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting accuracy, while also supporting process improvement initiatives across the accounting function.
The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of financial systems and controls. They thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable working with complexity across multiple entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments
• Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding items
• Support balance sheet integrity across multiple entities and currencies
• Ensure accuracy of financial reporting outputs through detailed review and validation of financial data
• Assist in managing multi-currency accounting processes, including currency conversion and related adjustments
• Support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
• Work closely with the Assistant Controller to improve accounting processes, controls, and reconciliation frameworks
• Identify and support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within accounting workflows
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial data
• Assist with audit requests and documentation as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-6+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (US GAAP knowledge an asset)
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
• Experience in a multi-currency and multi-entity environment strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
• Process improvement mindset with interest in enhancing accounting systems and workflows
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Relevant du controleur adjoint, l'analyste financier(ere) senior joue un role cle dans l'assurance de l'exactitude, de l'exhaustivite et de l'integrite de l'information financiere au sein d'une organisation en forte croissance, multisite et multidevise. Ce role est principalement axe sur l'integrite du bilan, les conciliations de comptes, les ecritures comptables et la precision de l'information financiere, tout en contribuant aux initiatives d'amelioration des processus au sein de la fonction comptable.
Le candidat ideal possede de solides competences techniques en comptabilite et en analyse financiere ainsi qu'une bonne comprehension des systemes financiers et des controles internes. Il/elle evolue aisement dans un environnement dynamique et complexe impliquant plusieurs entites et devises.
Principales responsabilites
• Preparer et comptabiliser les ecritures de journal, provisions et ajustements de fin de mois
• Effectuer et maintenir les conciliations de bilan en assurant l'exactitude, l'exhaustivite et la resolution rapide des ecarts
• Soutenir l'integrite du bilan a travers plusieurs entites et devises
• Assurer l'exactitude de l'information financiere par des validations et analyses detaillees des donnees
• Participer a la gestion des processus multidevises, incluant les conversions et ajustements lies aux taux de change
• Contribuer aux activites de cloture mensuelle afin d'assurer la production de resultats financiers precis et dans les delais
• Collaborer etroitement avec le controleur adjoint afin d'ameliorer les processus comptables, controles et cadres de conciliation
• Identifier et soutenir la mise en place d'ameliorations de processus visant l'efficacite, l'automatisation et la standardisation des operations comptables
• Travailler en collaboration avec les equipes FP&A et comptabilite afin d'assurer la coherence et l'integrite des donnees financieres
• Participer aux demandes d'audit et a la preparation de la documentation requise
Qualifications
• Baccalaureat en comptabilite, finance ou domaine connexe
• 3 a 6+ ans d'experience en comptabilite, analyse financiere ou role connexe
• Bonne comprehension des principes comptables et de l'information financiere (connaissance des normes US GAAP, un atout)
• Experience en conciliations de bilan, ecritures comptables et processus de cloture mensuelle
• Experience en environnement multidevise et multisite fortement souhaitee
• Maitrise avancee d'Excel et experience avec des systemes ERP/comptables
• Grande rigueur et souci du detail dans l'information financiere
• Esprit d'amelioration continue et interet pour l'optimisation des processus et systemes comptables
• Capacite a evoluer efficacement dans un environnement dynamique et en forte croissance
