Trading Operations Specialist

Job Title – Trade Processor Period – 12 months (Extension possible) Location – Montreal QC Mode - 3 days onsite. Job Summary As a Business Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in managing transaction lifecycles, providing technical guidance on trade finance products, and ensuring compliance with international standards and internal policies. Your expertise will help streamline operations, mitigate risks, and support our clients’ success through excellent service and impactful process improvements. Required Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, International Business, or related discipline • Minimum of 3 years of trade finance operations experience, preferably within a financial institution • Strong understanding of trade finance products, including documentary letters of credit, collections, and payment procedures • In-depth knowledge of ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP 821, URC 522, ISP 98, URDG 758) • Experience with AML and ATF compliance within trade finance • Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills • Bilingual fluency in English and French, with strong communication skills (oral and written) • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools Nice to Have Skills: • CDCS or CSDG certification • Additional industry certifications or certifications in compliance or risk management • Experience with process automation or programming tools Preferred Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, international business, or related fields • At least 3 years working in trade finance operations, ideally in a banking or financial services environment • Demonstrated ability to handle moderate to complex trade finance transactions and manage associated risks Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
