Bilingual HR Business Partner ( Retail)

We are currently supporting a major international retail organization in the search for a Bilingual HR Business Partner Manager to support both retail operations and corporate teams across Canada. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, driving people initiatives aligned with operational and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting large retail populations within a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities • Partner with senior leadership and retail management teams to support business and people strategies • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and talent development • Support recruitment, workforce planning, and organizational design initiatives • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies across retail locations • Coach leaders on HR best practices, leadership development, and change management • Analyze HR metrics and trends to support strategic decision-making • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal company policies • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations teams • Support new store openings, operational growth, and organizational transformation initiatives Qualifications • 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a large retail or multi-site environment • Fully bilingual in French and English • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices • Proven ability to support large operational teams in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills • CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset Profile • Strategic and hands-on • Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills • Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented • Passionate about supporting teams and driving business success Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
